Spacewoman
Process

I learnt the workflow between MakeHuman, Mixamo, Unity, and C4D for this course project. As a consequence, a user-controllable humanoid character has been created. I was so impressed with the Unity platform that I decided to teach myself C#. As an artist, I am very inquisitive and enjoy investigating and learning the capabilities of various design software and teaching myself new approaches to working.

Spacewoman is my first project using a humanoid character and Unity.

Terrain Tools

I experimented with the Terrain Tools and created multiple landscapes.

Unity Terrain Practice

Vegetation

I then used Terrain Brushes and created plants and trees. I used a simple cube as a reference (standard human height) to create relistic scale landscapes.

Mixamo and MakeHuman

Following on, I learned how to design characters in MakeHuman and how to rig and animate my characters in Mixamo. In addition, I taught myself how to use IKs to attach wheapons to a character.

C#

I wanted to create a user controllable character, so I decided to learn basic C# and managed to attach the controllers to my subject.
